Atal Pension Yojana


Atal Pension Yojana
· For all Bank account holders whose age is between 18 to 40 years.
· Period of Insurance
Annual : 1st June - 31st May
· The premium will be deducted from the account holder's saving bank account through 'auto debit' facility.
· The person would be eligible to join the scheme through one saving bank account only.

Govt Schemes In Social Sector:

SWADHARA central govt scheme for Woman in difficult circumstances like widows, destitute and deserted women, women ex-prisoners, victims of sexual abuse and crimes, including those trafficked and rescued from brothels, migrant or refugee women who have been rendered homeless due to natural calamities
Objectives of the scheme:
  • Support of primary needs like food, shelter, clothing and care
  • Emotional support and counselling to women
  • Socially and economically rehabilitation through education, awareness and training
  •  Medical and legal support through Govt and Non-Govt Organization

SWABHIMAN-This is a nationwide programme of financial inclusion. It was launched in February, 2011.its focus on bringing the deprived sections of the society in the banking network to ensure that the benefits of economic growth reach everyone at all levels.

Objectives of the scheme:

  • Promises to bring basic banking services to unbanked villages with a population of 2000 and above.
  • Banking facilities like Savings Bank, recurring Deposits, Fixed deposits, Remittances, Overdraft facility, Kisan Credit Card (KCCs), General Credit Cards (GCC) and collection of cheques will be provided.
  • Banks provide basic services like deposits, withdrawals and remittances using the services of Business Correspondents (BCs) also known as Bank Saathi.
